Erin Coates' portrait of Ngarinyin artist, educator and activist, Bungal (David) Mowaljarlia (c. 1926-1997) conveys the indivisibility of this man and his country through the video's interleaving of the temporal and the spatial. It solemnly records the loss of knowledge that has accompanied his passing.
